ROAD TRIP!!!!!
Spring break begins for so many!!
Who's heading out on a road trip?
Plan ahead with healthy snacks to make sure when you stop to fill up the tank, that's all you'll fill up!
π
1. NUTS!! Who's nuts for nuts?? Almonds, walnuts, pistachios, and pecans are your best bet.
2. BLUEBERRIES. Totally portable and non-messy! Really, any berry is a great idea.
3. CHERRY TOMATOES. Once you pop'em, you can't stop.
4. BABY CARROTS. Keep your eyes focused on the road with carrots!
5. STRING CHEESE. The kids will love this!
6. PROTEIN BAR. Quest bars!! Chocolate chip cookie dough are my fave!
7. BANANAS. Natures perfect road trip food.
8. HARD BOILED EGGS. Peel them before you pull out, and you have a great protein boost when you need it.
9. GRAPES. Like bananas, grapes were made for road trips.
10. WATER! Yes, you definitely want to stay hydrated on the road!
Enjoy!!! Travel safe!! Need more ideas? Connect with me on Facebook!

This post is for you....
They're words that are uttered often, yet how often do we truly let those words sink in and take action? So many of us engage in self-inflicted negativity in our lives without even realizing it – all resulting in negative self-esteem and destructive patterns.
But we can fix that. It starts with small changes, every day. A commitment to make a positive change in your life. Believe in YOU! You deserve it!
Need help or advice on where to begin? Message me, #girlieboss - I can help! www.facebook.com/jenddelvaux

Who will you be?
Remember this, YOU are enough.
Sometimes we all get busy; between work, family, friends, commitments, kids, sports, vacations, etc. etc. There is stress out there - to do everything, be everything, and to do so with perfection. Don't let stress and craziness get to you. You are enough. Stay true to you, your beliefs, and who you want to be. And, if you are YOU - then, the rest always falls into place.
1. Be the best that YOU can be. Don't compare yourself to anyone else.
2. Be around like-minded people. Those that support you for being YOU.
3. Focus on what you have - not what you don't. Appreciate the many things you do have! There is value in gratefulness!
4. Have a good attitude. Life is a journey, every moment is a gift. Enjoy it.
5. Smile often. A genuine smile makes you feel better and those around you!
6. Take care of your body. Studies show physical exercise give you a higher sense of self worth and accomplishment!
7. Be honest. Don't cheat. Be faithful. Be kind. Do the right thing!
8. Help others if you are able. Care about people! If you make a positive impact on others life; you will feel that positivity back on you!
9. Let go when you should. Be strong for yourself. Decide what is best for you and do it!
10. Embrace the next step in your life. You can hold on to the past or you can create your happiness for today!
What will you choose? Who will you choose to be? #girlieboss

You are sweet enough, #girlieboss
You are sweet enough!! You don't need extra sugar in your life or in your body! Sugar is highly addicting and gives you no nutritional 'bang for your buck'...try cutting down or eliminating sugar from your diet and you will notice some pretty great benefits! Read below...
1. Your Energy Will Improve
Ironically, many of us have a tendency to reach for sugar-filled items, including so-called energy drinks when we’re tired. Yet without all the sugar, we’re guaranteed to have a higher energy level naturally. In other words, all that sugar is blocking our body’s ability to keep our energy stores at maximal levels. Plus, there will be no up-and-down with your blood sugar, so afternoon crashes will become an experience of the past.
2. Your Weight Will Stabilize
Sugar makes you crave more sugar, and I'm not just talking about sugar in its raw form.
Let’s face it: most sugar comes in high-fat and/or high-carb foods that have been processed or at least contain tons of unwanted ingredients. ***There is, of course, the exception of fruit.
By going on a sugar detox, your body will not be subjected to the need to deal with all those additional calories.
You won’t feel hungry, and you’ll end up losing weight – or at least not seeing the scale fluctuate as dramatically.
3. Your Intestines and Colon Will Perform More Efficiently
If your insides could tell you what they wanted on a daily basis, they would say lots of fiber and a minimum amount of tough-to-digest, impure foods. When you remove sugar, you’re enabling your tummy and bowels to reset their abilities to process what you’ve eaten. You may even find that you go to the bathroom more often … this is a good thing. It means everything is getting back to a normal routine.
4. You’ll Stop Wanting Sugar
It’s a fact: sugar begets sugar. After you rid it from your food regimen, you’ll slowly begin to lose the desire to eat anything with sugar in it. Fruits will taste plenty sweet, and if you do take a bite of a cake or pie, you’ll be shocked at how overpowering and overly sweet it seems.
5. Your Skin Will Look Healthier
Have you noticed that you can’t seem to crack the case on why your acne appears and disappears despite all the creams, potions, and ointments you’re using? It may be that sugar is hurting your skin from the inside out.
Ready to try? Remember, do baby steps...one day or even one thing at a time! Who is with me on this? Need help with it? Message me today! And don't forget to ask me about my FREE 5 day Metabolism group that starts soon! (Learn about what it is, how to rev it up, and what foods will keep you from crashing!)
